Day 68 – Surreptitious

I really like the word ‘surreptitious’ and have spent a bit of time wondering why this is. Below is my conclusion.

Here is my idea of what a secret delicious syrup might be like:

There is a secret delicious syrup that is like no other sweet thing on Earth. No one must ever talk about this syrup as doing so will destroy its existence. The syrup is so unique that it is impossible to remember what the experience was like after the taste has faded. Saying the word ‘surreptitious’ to yourself under extreme secretive circumstances produces the delicious syrup that lasts on your taste buds for only a few seconds.
The taste starts very hushed before it smoothly rises up in to your mouth, it then steams briefly before melting away like a whisper.

Surreptitious.
